Contact me if you need assistance in obtaining one of the following documents.

US PASSPORT

The United States Passport is an identity document issued by the Department of State that allows one to travel.  While one can apply for it at places like US post offices, acquiring one can be difficult.  Recently, a United States passport was denied for a man issued a Texas birth certificate. See,  Sanchez v Kerry, et al., No.14-20774 (5th Cir.Dec.14, 2015).  Is it possible to be a natural born citizen of the State of Texas but not of the United States?  Ask me?

Naturalization Certificate

Unlike the passport above, you cannot travel on a naturalization certificate. I can assist you in obtaining one in your own right, through marriage, certain employment, and the military.

Green CARD (I-551)

Permanent residence status allows one to lawfully reside and to work in the United States.  However, the status is not permanent as it may be abandoned or taken away in removal proceedings.   I can assist you in obtaining permanent residence status or maintaining it, by defending you in removal proceedings.

VISA

You will need one of these to come to the US if you do not have the US passport or green card above. The visa's expiration does not control your departure date but your admissions to the US only.  Your I-94 controls the departure date.  Contact me if you need help in procuring a visa at any US consulate overseas.

Advance Parole Document

You obtain one of these before you leave the United States and it serves as advance permission  to return to the US and could allow you to maintain a pending adjustment of status application.

Employment Authorization Document (EAD)

If you are not a US citizen, permanent resident alien, or US employer sponsored to work, you will likely need one of these. Currently, there are over 25 categories to legally acquire one of these with corresponding subparts.
